Big Sky Insulated Food Pouch – Medium

Keep your freeze-dried meals hot from first pour to last bite. The Big Sky Insulite fits all standard 2-serving backpacking meal pouches, including all Trail Goods Co. meals. Ultralight, compressible, built for the trail.

How it works

Add hot water to your meal pouch, zip it shut, and drop it in the pouch. That’s it. The reflective PrimaLoft insulation does the rest while you set up camp or filter water. When you’re ready to eat, your meal is still hot. Roll the sides down to eat straight from the bag, or spoon it out as you go.

The medium size is the sweet spot. It handles single or double-serving meals, and fits a quart-size bag for a main plus two sandwich bags for sides. More food, still fits.

Safety note

Let very hot pots cool below boiling before placing inside the pouch. Fabric melting point is 275°F (135°C). The Insulite is designed for use with boiling water at 212°F (100°C).
