With 5,000 miles of thru hiking under my belt and still making hot meals every night this is easily one of the best dinner meals I’ve available. I was skeptical of the small water amount at first but after eating it, I agreed it was spot on. It’s nice to be able to quickly reheat a small amount of water and enjoy a great meal.

The flavor was great but I think maybe 3/4 cup water would have worked better than 1cup because the pasta was mushy and the sauce a little thin.
Hey there! Sorry you had that experience with your meal. We haven't heard that feedback yet about the water amounts but we will definitely look into it. Glad you enjoyed the flavor!
The taste was great!. The chicken and veggies looked like chicken and veggies, the noodles also had a good texture. The only down side was the zipper to close the bag wasn't secured propperly to the sides of the bag and heat got out while I was waiting for the food to rehydrate. I had to hold it closed for 10 mins.
Glad you liked the taste. Very dissapointed that our packaging didn't hold up the way it should. These were are very first run of packages for the brand so this kind of input is extremely valuable and appreciated. We hope that one day we can bring earn those two stars back.

A delicious backpacking meal is finally here. I put it in a nice bowl and with proper cutlery, I thought I was in an upscale restaurant. Yes, it was that good.
